I was hoping the topic could bring about some humor, analogous to the site owner's piece on strange reasons for guys quitting the site; and maybe explain some of excuses I received .
Was wondering also if it was something about me, personally; but I found out such is probably not the case (other than [not surprisingly] age), as a few guys told me the odds are less than one in fifty of an affirmative response, and that no-shows are quite common. Goes with the territory.
In the short time I've been here, I've been handed some excuses akin to the famous "Why I didn't do my school homework" ones.
What are some of the most outlandish reasons for someone refusing to wrestle you? We can rule out as "customary and usual" reasons such as "too old, too young, too fat, too skinny, not my type, too far, and similar." Let's start a collection of both on-line and in-person excuses. Please keep it civil by not including real or screen names or other info which could be used to identify the specific person. Such reasons can cover on-line rejections as well as those tendered by those meeting you in person, either on or off premises.
