Here's my reasoning: The boxer may be brutal, but he'll still stop at a word. He's not your friend, so he'll give you everything you ask for and take you to heights only before dreamt of. But he's not a sadist either, so he'll stop and help you down from the summit afterwards.

A good friend – as in, truly good – would only hit you that hard if you pressured them and pressured them, telling them, 'Harder! Come on, where did you learn how to punch?' You'd wind up injuring that friendship more than anything. It might not even be sexual for them, which opens up a whole other can of worms.

A sexy partner sounds nice if it's meant as foreplay for something else.
