Thomthumb 2002 has posted a nice collection of period GP scenes. Thank You dude! There must be hundreds of others and a 'master' collection must exist somewhere. Anyway, just grateful for the few that do get posted. Many of them make you realise just how movie/TV fight scenes have changed over the years.

You guys are awesome for thinking up this post. Thank you! Curious to know why so many of the best beating up, gut punching scenes seem to come from the 70s and 80s. Virtually nothing in the 90s and beyond, at least that I can find. Perhaps it's because TV shows and movies have just got more gratuitous. Today the guy getting beaten up seems to mostly take a brutal kicking instead of being held by one or two guys and beat up. Times have changed, so it seems anyway.

would love to take a beaten and or beat up a guy as far as abs go.

In the 70's there was a detective show called Baretta that starred Robert Blake. He got beaten up several times in the show.

This is awesome, thank you for posting. Actually, Hexum is worked over a 4th time, he's in a white t-shirt about mid-way thru the episode, his arms held tight behind his back, punched once in the face, once in the gut, then the scene switches. Curious if you have it. Thanks!

One of my favorites! Magnum, Mannix and Rockford got worked over all the time. Any favorite episodes on YouTube? There are two Magnums I can think of, one where he is beat up in jail with the word chicken in the title, the other in an alley 3on1 where he is wearing his new birthday shirt
