Looks like you are in London, and just based off what I have seen London, NYC, and Southern California seem to have the densest concentrations of members of compared to anyone else on this site. (I've had a ton of people from those areas try and get me to come to them from online sites, though most don't seem willing to leave and go to anyone else).

Anyway, I'm in my mid-40s and have been on and off sites like this since my early 20s. Maybe met around 2 dozen for various kinds of fetish fighting actives. No one can doubt there are a lot of fantasy, fakes and flakes.... but one thing you kind of gloss over in you blog is what you are doing on your end.

Are you talking to established people who have training or references or a lot of those people with near empty profiles with no details or past opponents (high percentage of flakes fit that mold)? Are you able to host or split cost of a place or just expecting someone else to do and provide everything? Are you willing to travel or wanting everyone to come to you? Are you pushing for sexual activity for people who just want sport, or sport for those that are just looking for sexual fantasy? These are just rhetorical questions, you don't have to answer anything for me of course.... but considering you are not in some secluded or isolated area where lack of people is the problem.... it may be good to consider what actions you are taking on your side of the equation.

Being training in stand-up striking sports myself, it's much harder to find people than those just looking to wrestle.... but a huge part of being on these sites is weeding though all the flakes, time-waster, and pic wankers just in the hopes you find a few people you are interested in.

London is the most populated city in the UK… It is much easier to meet and make connections with like-minded people.

People in London just waste this opportunity. In life I have had better luck with those outside of London and foreigners.

I’ve been in contact with various members on this site; many have had little to no opponents, and or recommendations.

I contact members if I think we are compatible and would have a good time... Even occasionally profiles without photos.

My interests and intensions are crystal clear in my profile, so anyone that contacts me, will know exactly what to expect.

I struggled also a but to get my first opponent but since I travelled I met a lot of awesome people.

At the start of last year, I said to myself; if I don’t have any opponents for the year, I would definitely consider travelling.

I’m still actively looking for opponents in the UK… l will start looking for potential opponents in other parts of the world.

Have not wrestled a great deal but each time I had a match it was with a great gut and was a lot of fun. Hand in there. Something may be just around the corner.

I deleted my first account for the sake of my mental health. I returned after a few months. I am now mentally stronger.

It’s a new year and I am hoping for new opportunities and possibilities. At least now, I know what to expect on this site.

My experience has been that everybody has bad experience, but few people that do, every learn anything from them. They come out, the exact same way they went in.

I've been here twice as long as you and haven't had any meets. But you know what? There's members that have been here twice as long as me, and haven't met anyone. Assuming you didn't just sign up and walked away forgetting all about the site, what have you learned so far?

Well, I wasn’t expecting my experience here to be a bed of roses but I had absolutely no idea that it would be this bad.

I have never dealt with so many timewasters, fantasists, fakes, trolls, pests etc. It got so bad that I deleted my account.

I decided to return a few months later. I’m more assertive, vigilant, and I have learnt to be less trusting of people here.

It's not that hard to meet guys to wrestle on here. You might have to travel a bit.

I know that Americans are a lot more friendly, outgoing, forward, uninhibited and more willing to make things happen.

However, British people are more shy, reserved and closed off, which makes it harder to connect with, or meet people.

Members from other countries seem to be more interested in me and what I have to offer. I should consider travelling.

Correction, its not that hard if you have no specific limitations or preferences. If your profile is limited to "breathing" you'd probably get to meet someone every day. Provided you live in a moderately size city.

I see your point, but I don’t quite agree. Many members do have preferences and requirements, and are still successful.

I have seen a lot of profiles with very specific age, looks, body and race requirements when it comes to their opponents.
