Callow youth that you are!

I was going to try and describe it but then Youtube came to the rescue -

They provided minutes of entertainment in between episodes of On The Buses and The Good Old Days.

They were very popular. I bought mine some years after their heyday. I think someone must have found some old stock in a souvenir shop and put them on sale. Mine was bought in Scarborough in the 90's.

Anyway, as this is off topic I'll bring it back and ask if anyone knows when the WoS will be on.

Apparently UK World Of Sport Wrestling is returning to ITV on Saturday afternoons (not sure of the time) for a new a new ten part series. The bouts will be filmed competing in front of a live audience at Preston Guild Hall. Details to be announced this week.

Gosh.

Will it be the same as the 1970 Saturday afternoon on an old black and white TV? All that gloss and make up

As long as there is no modern equivalent of Big Daddy or Giant Haystacks then I'll be happy.

If we do have to get an old B&W tv remember to put it on at least 5 minutes before the show to give it time to warm up. I've still got a Dippy Duck to put on top of mine.
