I gotta clear something up

Hello men,
I’m back. Some of you might still remember me. But anyway I gotta clear something up. My profile specifically says don’t send anything inappropriate. That means pictures. Otherwise you’ll be blocked. I’m not comfortable with that. Some of you might be. I’m not okay with it. I’ve already had to block one person. My profile says it as plain as day. I’m not gonna keep telling y’all to not send me inappropriate stuff. I’ll just block. It’s that simple. Moneymitch out!

Yes, I don't get why anyone would send unprompted erotic pics or links unless you clearly ask for it. Maybe it turns them on and they don't really care if it turns anyone off.

Isn't this a gay wrestling website? Sure. Go ahead block members, but why make such a big deal about this? I think it's likey that any member here will receive naughty pics.

This site isn't specifically "gay" or for wrestling otherwise it might be called Meet Gay Wrestlers. To clarify the myth.

The site isn't as gay as you think due to more people exploring combat kink and fetishes along with some actually joining to meet others outside of a gym setting. I know my share of straight, bi, gay, married, and single guys on here. Each joined for a different reason and looking to expand on it.

Mitch's offense to the content sent to him is no different then sending straight content to a gay person when it wasn't asked for.

Hell, I had one guy from here, convo was going good. Shared experiences and talked for over a month, for him to flip on me and curse me.out when he finely read my profile in full and say I was married. The information was laid out there but he was caught up on appearance and didn't read.

So yes, blocking is required sometimes.

I just wrote, elsewhere in another thread, that MF is a tolerant, supportive community.

I am shocked to see that Moneymitch's post has received TWO "thumbs down". Why???

I know nothing of you, Moneymitch, but absolutely concur with your wish NOT to receive horrid photos.

Tottally the right on your end to block them, the behavior on here has gotten fairly pedestrian fast once the Global chat folks migrated.

Unrelated though, you posted on the Boxing board looking for "Fat guys" maybe reword that or put that on a interest group more appropriate.

Could not agree more. Keep the x-rated pics to yourself. Plain and simple.

There is no need for it unless it is asked for or agreed too.

I only have one comment. We all have to remember that access to phones is not always private. Unsolicited photos can cause enormous embarrassment and in some cases family distress. Not everyone is ‘out’ , generally or to family.

You're right, and this is an important topic for discussion. Here's an example: I was just at a conference all week. while texting on and off with a coworker about a grant deadline, someone I know who lived in the area and was trying to meet up with kept sending nudes. I asked him to stop because of where I was and said I didn't ask for nudes and wasn't going to reciprocate, and nope, he did it a few more times and I had to block his number and Facebook. Like, if I'm not at the conference, I'm out with my employees - people who report to me - and the nudes aren't wanted. (Then his husband sent me an angry message about being a flaky and prudent gay.)

This is a consent issue. This is a reasonable boundary to have. This is about respect. Nobody is so hot that they're entitled to interrupt an important conversation about a grant deadline, or dinner with coworkers and trying to take a selfie, with a picture of their junk. It's tactless at best and sexual harassment at worst (I said no, they did it anyway).

Guys, just ask first! There's a time and place!
